Students for Social Change

This just in from the Students for Social Change mailing list.

Hey Everybody,

Given the state of the world and the current economic crisis, allot of people wonder - "well, what can i do"?.

Well, allot. The movie we will be showing this coming Wednesday shows just how workers in Argentina that had been laid off, took over and ran factories after they had been closed during a sever economic crisis. It is a very inspiring film that shows just what can be done.

In our country last month almost 600,000 people lost their jobs. Every week 46,000 homes are being foreclosed. Things are bad, but things can change. We just have to decide we have had enough.

Come watch THE TAKE - Wednesday 2/18 - 6:15pm - Rosa Parks Rm. D

*A flyer is attached, so if you can please give some to you're friends and classmates.

Hope to see you all there.
